When I try to siege Marseiles after a turn a captain without a banner tries to relieve the siege after that I get a error report and the game closes
When I try to siege Marseiles after a turn a captain without a banner tries to relieve the siege after that I get a error report and the game closes
The one that Microsoft sends that says that they are sorry for the inconveniance and that the specified program has to close they give a option to send error report or to not send
I had a captain like that myself he apeired when I had a family member and a unit of soldiers when the turn ended the soldiers turned in to a captain with its unit picture being the mark of france and he had a bodyguard like anyother family member and when I tried to move the captain in to the city and I get the same thing. But when I removed the family member from the stack with the captain he turns in to a Crusader States family member.WTF???
I dont remember the name of the family member because i dont have that save game
Regarding the captain that apeared his name is Captain Richard
This all hapened on the border betwen Anjou and Auvergene now im not ceartain in which of these two but if I would have to pick I would say Auvergen
This mod is pissing me off I almost had a nervous breakdown now.I started another campaign this time with Denmark I invaded great brittain and about 20-30 turns (maybe even at same time as before) in I get the same thing please help and about that error report I figured out that it wasnt sent by Microsoft but it has an option for me to send it to microsoft
Any CTD that is followed by an error report for Microsoft is not a problem of the mod itself. Regarding the adopted captain, it might be a case of a cloned family member... I'll take a look on that later. Thanks for your feedback.

Could you help me to stop these CTD I realy want to play this mod
Did you try continuing your campaign? Do you have any savegame? Any progress? Cause, perhaps it's a problem with the game being runing for too long and the pc runing out of memory (or similar).
Also, try reducing the graphs settings... just for testing. Don't use anti aliasing, or anything wierd.

I cant continou my campaign because I get a CTD when the Byzantine Empire is on turn. When I got the CTD the game has being running for an hour or a two max.
And I also tried reducing the graphics to the lowest I just left Unit shaders and gloss maps because i dont know what they do.As ususal during Englands turn they attacked me just a bit north-west of London I then lowerd the graphics and anhiliated them then the turn goes normally until it reaches The Byzantines after which the screen goes black and I have to do ctrl+alt+delete to get on the desktop then that error report comes in
P.S And I dont know can this be relevant but my memory on the HD is pretty low about 5GB on D and 3 on C disc

The HD memory is ok... you can play even with less than 1 gb left of free HD space.
I think something similar to your problem has already been report... something with the game crashing to desktop on byz's turn. However, I hadn't heard anything of a MSN error report before.
I suggest trying the hotfix, I think I added a possible solution to that problem in it. But I cannot confirm it will work. Please, tell me if it worked or not.
BTW, you'll have to start a new campaign... and erase the map.wrm, just in case.

I have downloaded the hotfix but where is the map.wrm
Ignore that above I found it I am suposto extract the hotfix into romemedievalmod folder right?
Its working its working its working yes thank you Mataputas thank you very much
Great! At last, some good news from the hotfix
So, it solves the damn byzantine-turn CTD. Now, we have to test the weird clone general stuff and the "Occupy settlement" CTD...
Thanks for your feedback, Feldmarschal Rommel
