    Default Empire campaign

hey, can someone make a sub mod for RS2 when it comes out, where you play as Augustus or another emperor and control the whole roman empire from the start, and all legions are stationed at their historical posts etc?

uhmm... you're asking quite allot from one of use but when it comes out i'll see what I can do. (NO PROMISES MADE!)
I don't if you know how much works and time this involves, but it does! if it wouldn't, don't you think RS II would be out by now?
Or when It comes out you can do it yourself! check some tutorials out in the Rome workshop.

Personally, I've always wanted an RS mod like this, but you do realise that means you have to cut out most of the Factions in the game, right?
Carthage, Gaul, Seleukids, Egypt, Pergamon, Pontus, Makedon, Greece simply don't exist any more... A modification of the EB map is actually best suited to a thing like this, simply because during the reign of Augustus, Roman armies were sent as far away as modern Yemen and Sudan! This would take a huge amount of effort - you should cut a few provinces from Gaul and Spain and others occupied by Rome at the Start of the game, and then add them to Britain, Germania, Armenia, Dacia, and Bosporan areas.
You'd have to start with places like Rhaetia, Mauretania, and Thracia as client Kingdoms...
You could however create new factions, like the Marcomanni, Chatti and Cherusci in Germania, the Brythonic tribes in Britain, the Iazyges and Roxolani Sarmatians around Dacia...
