monitor dvi puzzler

Got new samsung p2570

got incredibly excited, hooked computer up through dvi port

It didnt work

used dvi to hdmi adapter, it did work


used hdmi to dvi adapter (set it up opposite way)

still worked

used dvi cord that came with monitor attacked to dvi to hdmi adapter


It still ing worked

but I would really like too know their is no problems and kind of prefer using dvi too dvi in first place.

what is going on ?

I have a samsung too, dosent work. Is the power light blinking? if so it seem like they have some bad electrical component in them. Easy to fix if you can soder
