Campaign Game
Coming from someone who hasn't tried multiplayer campaign, I was wondering how much of a commitment it was. I'd guess it would be a rather long term commitment but wasn't sure. How demanding is it?

Re: Campaign Game
The MP campaign is very enjoyable in my opinion. I have never enjoyed separate battles on their own, so the campaign is perfect for me. I prefer it if each battle has a strategical impact, and I also like the fact that you will often be fighting on unequal terms.
And N03 is correct in that it is best played with someone you are familiar with. It is a bit of a commitment and not something you play for an hour and stop right after.
As for settings, I would recommend using two minutes/turn and only manually fighting battles between large human armies; if you manually control every single army, passing a year will take forever, and many battles won't be overly interesting.

Re: Campaign Game
It's not. Theres the option to have the other player fight for the AI but you can then only do that or auto-resolve. You can't, it seems, just fight the AI. Me and a friend were assuming that the other player, who's not involved, would simply spectate. Shame really because we were hoping to play cooperatively but just going around auto-resolving ruins the campaign! The campaigns already incredibly slow paced i don't see why, for those willing to put in the time comittment, they didnt atleast put in an option for it!

Re: Campaign Game
Can someone tell me if its possible to just fight the AI in a mpc without another players involvement.
All me and a friend can seem to do is auto-resolve.

It may be in the settings with the other player serving as the Ai, but otherwise, I dont know.
