Default How to change turn per year thing?

hi every1, im new on TWC forums, playing greek mod these days and some ppl says they are playing with 8tpy on ''Post ur empire'' topic. i have searched on google and twc but cant find any addon or something else for TPY thing. only thing i have found is for MTW 2 and ETW.

How i can change my tpy to 4 or 8.

Since im playing with greeks on VH/VH - bridges on, AI bonuses on, toggle_fow on. would be awesome to have more spartan royal guards and so.

well, i know how to change the number of turns it takes to train a unit(xgm/Data/export_descr_unit and then scroll to SRG and change the first number after stat_cost to the desired number of turns) but I don't know how to change the turns per year. however, EB has got 4tpy, so ask one of the creators how they did it. good luck

Are you sure that works? I just tried it and i keep getting an error "Stat_cost statistic missing from unit type greek hoplite spartan"

I've thought about doing this a long time ago, I believe it's possible,
but you would need to code it in manually, using something like WinMerge
to merge the export_descr_advices, the one from your xgm/data folder(back it up first),
and one generated from this tool:

    http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showth...-final-release

    or this one: http://www.totalwar.org/Downloads/Rt...tGenerator.rar

First one was made by Myrddraal. Second is by HouseofHam.

    I could be wrong, though.

Turns per year is a background script option for RTW - XGM does not use a background script

Doing so would remove the Forced Diplomacy option available in game.

    However here it is -
