My screen goes down all the time.

I didnt use to have this problem before, i think this happened right after i changed the screen resolution, the game wont come up after the first screen that comes up. The one with alot of text, showing when the game is made, by whom and so on. But then it goes down, and when i click on it it goes up but then immediately jumps back down. The game is running, im looking at it but it wont let me play. Help me plz.

I am running it on Win 7 64 bit
intel core i5
4gb RAM
and some ATI

Try deleting the preferences.txt and starting a new campaign.
