Have u guy's seen this video?
It's realy well exsplained how the roman army did there job's , no wonder they had the world for some periode.
I was realy impressed of the commentor guy , nice video aswell.
lol what a coinsedence I saw that on youtube too!!
Quite effective for such a short vid.
I was always impressed by that opening scene of Rome and the cold, calm efficiency with which the Roman soldiers operate there. Possibly the finest depiction of Roman warfare I've ever seen, too bad it's so short.
Those Gauls had no chance against Vorenus' perfect whistle timing.![]()
lol I watched Rome too all two seasons!!
Yes Indeed. That series was awesome. Too bad they only did two seasons, not to mention jump around years and years it would've been nice IMO to see more. But now I'm watching Spartacus: Blood and Sand. That series is OOC.
And OMG...that narrator is about as captivating as a wet carrot. I like the vid though.![]()

"So parents...hold on to your hats...the federal government is gonna give you 400 dollars for every child you have...so if you've got 1,000 kids...you're on freaking easy street. That's where you go, what is the government thinking? I mean wha, what do Congressmans' children eat -- MITES?!? All 400 dollars does is remind me how screwed I am; You'd be better off if you're Congressman just came to your door, and pissed on your foot."
BSADDB, RIP Brooster (09/2007)
HAhaha yea he's funny but i hate when people throw away there lives with too much alcohol party's en too much [maybe] drugs. he was a funny character tho.

I have to say that Ciarán Hinds as Caesar was pretty much the best actor on the series imo. Rarely have I seen an actor who completely becomes the character like this man. Fantastic. By the way, the battle of Philippi is also nicely portrayed in the 2nd series of Rome. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wQ_6cVXTQk

I've watched both Rome seasons several times. I really love it.
Vorenus is my favourite character because he is a good, loyal soldier.
That guy who made the video, check out his channel. He´s got very good stuff there!

I guess my favorites were Vorenus, Octavian and Attia (wrong spelling?) as they really seemed to embody the spirit of Rome, the strictness, the ambition, power as well as tragedy.
But all of the characters were great and I feel uncomfortable choosing any specific ones.
In reguards to the Rome television series, my favorite character was Attia. She was freakin' hot and also a strong, articulate, and intelligant Roman female(which makes her even sexier). Titus Pullo is the kind of guy i would like to hang out with if i could go back in time to ancient Rome. Does anyone know if they are going to make a third season?
Waow.... Atia of the Julii god i hated her so much lol , she's such witch men lol a real ROMAN woman!!
like Lucretia
such backstabbin female's
They used a whistle? I knew they were cheating. How can they expect a dog (like a Gaul) to fight back in the face of such high pitched, paralyzing whistle blowing?![]()
Why advance in a checker board formation at all? Wouldn't it make more sense to just get close, then deploy in a line?
