    Default Avira Personal (Free)

    I decided to give Avira a go as a replacer for AVG and I'm fairly impressed. It seems to be much faster than the latter, although I've already run into a couple of problems. It blocks several sites or updaters which it shouldn't, including Windows Update, the updater from Windows Defender and also the home page from Steam (the program itself is running fine, it only refuses to display the home and community page).

    Any solutions?

    Haven't got those problems myself.

    I get loads of annoying pop ups from avira itself though.

    I solved it. Apparently it had nothing to do with Avira...
