Hi everyone. I got as far as Software, but there is not "Sega" when I double click on Software. Can anyone tell me why?
Where did you buy the game?
I popped you out. That threead is outdated.
Yes I realized that after I posted. But someone in Gamespot recommended this to me.
What do you mean by where? Like what store? Country?
Did you buy it from Gamespot? What version of the game?
No, I bought it from Target.
It's the regular version. I haven't installed any mods or anything else.
Are you trying to uninstall it for a reason? Have you tried a registry cleaner like eusing Free Registry Cleaner?
If you are trying to reinstall it, what message(s) is/are the installer giving you?
uninstall? I'm trying to get multiplayer to work. It continues to say "Invalid CD key", so I've been searching for a way to fix it.
If you just bought the game, odds are your cd-key has been stolen. You will have to contact Sega support with your sales slip, game box, manual, and dvds to have them give you a new one. Nothing new.
Good luck.
Well I've had it for about a year so is it still considered new?
The game is at least four years old and in games, it's old.
Have you considered just using the Search function in your Registry to find SEGA? I don't see why that wouldn't work unless you don't have it at all in the first place. If the latter is the case then I wonder if you have a good install....

Even more important did you run the game before looking for the registry entries? The game creates the entries the first time you run it.

IF it did, it would be in the registry.
Have you had trouble with any other programs since the virus?
Yes: In fact, I can't, for some reason, install Rome: Total War again. I forget what it told me, but I then installed MW 2.
Where can I see the registry?
Click start, type regedit, enter.
