I have bought Medieval 2 Gold, and I was wondering what patch or patches I need for the game. All i have is a clean install of Medieval 2 Gold right out of the box.

I have bought Medieval 2 Gold, and I was wondering what patch or patches I need for the game. All i have is a clean install of Medieval 2 Gold right out of the box.

The only patch you need is the 1.5 Gold Edition patch for your region. The vanilla game should be patched to 1.3 automatically by the Installer and Kingdoms comes installed at 1.4. Good luck!

Are you running on Vista or Win7? Try installing the 1.5 patch anyway - it should work.

Version 1.02 is medieval2.exe. Start a Kingdoms campaign and it should say 1.04 until you patch it.
