I am sorry but I am afraid it won't run with steam since no mod afaik runs with steam version of M2TW. For some reason CA made the steam version quiet different in nature and thus usual procedures for mods are not applicable with steam version of the game... Things could change though but it's unlikely.
I have seen it done with other mods, you just have to make a separate installationfile. I think there is a step by step manual some where in the Stainless Steel forums....![]()
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that sucks, i wish it clicked earlier that i wouldnt be able to get this to work (i can barely get ss running with it) because ive been waiting almost a year for this to come out
Any mod can eventually be played on Steam. There are a few ways to get it working. I suggest you go to google.com and search for "Steam and M2TW mods" or click search button on this forum and look it up here
I THINK that the easiest way is to rename one of the Kingdoms campaign to something like "TotallyRandomName" and then rename the folder of the mod to "KingdomCampaignName" like the Americans campaign or whatever the name is. This should launch the desired mod instead of the campaign.
There's another way through messing with the registers but to be honest I am not sure about that one... might be a bit complicated for you
