Need help

Hi I've been trying to get this mod to work for a few days now, I have the steam version of medieval 2 and kingdoms and I have vista.

The first way to install it that I tried is where you rename the grand campaign mod to "teutonic" or one of the other campaigns and start it, that didn't work, it would just crash it when i tried to start it.

Then I tried this method http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...=129258&page=8 (4th post, page 8) that seemed to get closer to working, it would start, go to the splash screen then exit out with no error or explanation at all.

Then i finally tried this http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=1144407 that way does the exact same thing, goes to the screen then exits.

I have no idea what to try now so any help would be much appreciated.

This below was taken from my FAQ thread. Apart from this I know of no other way to get KGCM to work on a Steam version of medieval 2 and kingdoms, I am very sorry I cannot help more. Failing that you can always buy these games again very cheap on Amazon. Thats always a better option than wasting days trying to get a mod to work if you ask me.

Q. How do I get this mod to work for a steam version of Kingdoms?
A. A forum member has posted a fix for this at another thread, in post 144. It is to long to post it all in here so here is the link below. Follow his instructions and good luck. As I don't play with a steam version of Kingdoms I am unable to help any further.
