Which Faction SHould I use for new campaign?

I just finnished Up my Martha Confederacy campaign with the Prestige virctory settings. I was upset to find out that the very last two turns France had beat me in prestige by 200 points.

Though I'm upset I'm going to lick my wounds and start over. Anybody got a recomendation on Which faction to choose next? I'm also going to try to play on Hard mode. Appreciate the suggestions!

Realy? I took all the little guys in europe, but the big ones are still buddy buddy with me (for ~50 years now)

Ottoman Empire is very cool, w/ so many theaters that you will have to fight in ... I also enjoyed the French and Spanish campaigns!

I did this, too, got Maratha, but since you already did that, second was Prussia. Now go play it on hard .

I haven't seen it so far, not even on H/H.

Vanilla or modded?

Vanilla, latest patch. Had GB & Venice invade my Ottoman empire by sea, once in Cairo and once in Georgia (both times they beat my 1 peasant garrison!).

Interesting, I use vanilla too, but never encountered a naval invasion, I'd love it though, would make it more interesting.
