Do i have to extract the DO1 and 2 files anywhere once they're downloaded or do i just start the launcher?
So I didn't extract them and just installed the game still not sure what to do with files above but btw this mod is a beta right?

OK, I will spell it slowly:
The three files listed on top of the first post ARE the installer. Simply in three parts. There is nothing you have to do with the DO1 and DO2 file, except having them in the same directory as the EXE file when you click on the EXE file.
Answering you second question, here again a quote from the first post:
Please do read instructions, they safe everybody's time.Previous Downloads that are included
- Basic Install
- Patch 1.0
- Patch 1.1
Not sure what you said but I got 1.2 to work by moving my all the 3 files to the IB2 folder so I'll install the 1.201 patch now.
Btw this is the only availability IB2 mod using the Med2 engine right and is there a way to know if the 1.2.01 patch installed correctly because I don't see a difference? (like what's an 'au naturel'.)
Ok I so I got 1.201 it's pretty good for the scale of the game. Can't wait for a grand campaign.
So you guys exported quite a few units from IB (far from all still). Planning on more? Pretty cool in 3 turns I got almost all of Africa as the Vandals.
Awesome mod! congratulations, but I have a problem:
Units are not highlighted (green circles) when I click on them in battle.
How can I solve this? or Is this a bug? or is it supposed to be that way?
I have everything installed, patch included.
memory of Midnite, Pumpkin, Bear, Pip and Pepper -- 4/2/10, 5/24/10, 11/27/17, 11/11/18 and 1/15/19

Thank you so much. +rep
i still get error at 38% as people did before me
I thought you just had to mess with the minimal ui thing for arrow markers
i hate the drop down
Hi, I can not find a link to the patch 1.1. Could anyone give me a link to the patch 1.1?
What do you mean?
You need the three psrts of the core buid 1.2 and the patch 1.2.01 - links are working, I just checked.
No patch 1.1 there or needed.
That is not so I have to install 0.1 -> 0.2-1.0-1.1-1.2? only need to install 1.2 and 1.2.1? <faceplam>
I think the first post should be understandable. dont know what confused you:
That is a complete version (the thread title gives a decent hint) compiled by gigantus and all what is needed.Invasio Barbarorum 2 Vandals 1.2 (Full)
IB2 - Vandals Version 1.2 Full (Exe) - 200,000KB
IB2 - Vandals Version 1.2 Full (DO1) - 200,000KB
IB2 - Vandals Version 1.2 Full (DO2) - 176,242KB
IB2 - Vandals Patch 1.2.01 - 273KB
Installation:
- Download all three parts into one directory, double click\run the EXE file
- The installer will install the files into mods\IB2
- Simply follow the instructions
At the moment I am playing ss 6.3 maybe a stupid question but if I install this one can I run them both still ? Does this mod change any files other than the ones in mods\IB2 ?
Thanks in advance
Hi just got MTW2 and really haven't even played it yetJust installed IB2 and have a couple questions. The installer wanted to install in program files and I couldn't change it so I let it. I renamed the ib2 folder americas and moved to mods in MTW folder,it seems to work but haven't really played yet. Noticed a couple of graphical anomalies ( no chi ro on banners and bridges look like arrows) maybe because of the way I had to get it running? Is there anyway I can change target in installer or maybe obtain a .RAR file? Looks really nice and looking forward to playing EDIT What should I do with the registry file? merge it or just leave it be? Played a couple turns and wow! Incredible detail and hardly any lag even whith unlimited men when being attacked by a massive Vandal army
Are there any other mods set in Roman period for MTW ? I'm not much for the Medieval stuff but this looks perfect, can't wait for the other campaigns

“Plunderers of the world, after they, laying everything waste, run out of land, they probe even the sea: if their enemy has wealth, they have greed; if he be poor, they are ambitious; neither East nor West has sated them; alone of mankind they covet poverty with the same passion as wealth. Robbery, butchery, rape they misname empire: they make a wasteland and call it peace” Tacitus
