RTW Online Stat/Morale/Speed modding

Hi all, i bet you have heard this question 100 times so pls forgive me.

I have been playin rtw for a while now and every so often i have been accused of being a cheat modder, actually i have also accused people of cheat modding.

Now, i am askin if it is possible to increase armour stats, weapon stats, morale or speed of units in rtw online games. Some guys from a certain clan told me that a guy has given his praetorian cav and 2 hit point bonus (like roman general unit has) by changing some files.

If it is possible to make any of the changes mentioned above?

The only cheat you can do online is by making units (say, sacred band) available to other factions (making the SB available for Rome).

Don't do it. You will be hated.

Also, why the heck do you have to know?

Well i want to know, because so many people r accused of it nowadays. For, e.g i am in a tourny at the minute, and there is lots of rumours about people makin mod armies so they win.

Edit: Also i think u r wrong. I have been told that it is possible. I just wanted it clarified once and for all.

Sounds like to me you are accusing others of cheating, not the other way round.

Who told you that? It's not possible. If the unit stats are different the game doesn't work.

Who has been accused? I never hear anybody being accused of cheating, except by new people who don't want to understand how they could have lost. Which tourney is that? What rumours?

If you have ever lost a game even though the other guy has less units than you, in all likelyhood, it's because he has taken upgrades.

I am not a modder and yes i have accused but i have also been accused. And if u have nt heard anyone being accused than i am shocked.

King conan accuses people all thetime, Wolves clan have recently been accused ny king pitt. And a guy called undrass has also been accused.

I was told by someone that a friend of his can mod his praetorian cav so that it has 2 hit points bonus. Also i was told by a diff person that it is possible to hack GS and modded stats can then be used.

Then you should play with a more mature bunch of people. Honestly, I hardly ever hear accusations of cheating, so I'm thinking it's your gaming group. Btw is "ny", "by" or "my"?

lol if they do that it will say Incompattible version because the game code is screwed. as the bloke above said its only possible to give units to factions. Judging from the people you hang around with you will still lose whether you use it or not. difference is that they wont call you a whore if you don't.

No it is not possible to cheat like that, as Max said it will become incompatible because the game versions will have different values in the stats for their units, the only way to cheat is to include other factions units in other factions that don't have those units(e.g what enstacock and antiope do). It's pointless and immature to accuse other people of cheating when it is not possible lol.

Only cheating I've ever seen is where they take units like Yutsebs or Spartans with Rome etc. Never felt that someone's units have had their stats modded.

Only people who've ever accused me of cheating were inexperienced or clanless players who can't comprehend the price of units and upgrades. For instance, 6 gold/gold cataphracts can be brought on 15k with spare change. Some people are unable to comprehend such basics.

Wrong question you put here mr MODDER.....becouse like i sed before .to you in xfire and in...lobby and in tournament...etc....if you are a modder its good but you canot 'do' CHEAT in this game....you post it here wrong....not here man...try on a hacker forum...ppl hack NASA servers,and 'they' from time to time practice on GameSpy ,Punkbuster ,etcto

)..try there and wacth out to dont get HACK

P.S: a small softer to 'intercept' 'mails' send and receive by Gamespay from each player and send them back with 'diferent' values... theat will be nice

....

thank you. I am not saying i want to learn how to hack i am just saying that it is possible for hackers to intercept the mail to GS so that game will not become incompatible when modded stats are used.

Thats what i was lookin for.

How does intercepting mail from GS make your game compatable again? and its funny how you listen to the first person saying it might be possible instead of the 5 or so telling you it isnt.
