[Help] Can't change unit stats

HI everyone, I'm new to this fantastic mod . The only problem for me is I feel , as everyone , the cavalry is so underpowered . Obviously I don't expect they can stand 1vs1 vs the Spartan but even my FM charged and suffered 60% casualty in melee against the lowly Persian ARCHER is just beyond me . So I buffed their stats in the EDU file, but when i go to the custom battle it was still the same. I guess I missed something ? Any help is so appreciated

Spartans don't stand a chance against heavy cavalry when used correctly.

Slingers (and Spartans) beat the same cavalry easy when ordered to commit suicide (ordering them to stand still and fight in melee).

If you use the trivial script, you need to change the back-up EDU (in your case the one for single player). Since this file is placed over the EDU in EB/Data every time you start EB via the trivial script.

I see my problem , I edited the EDU in EB/data folder Thank you very much !!!
well I know repeating charge can beat any unit, but in a full stack battle I have many unit to control, not only the cavalry -_- and I dont think an elite heavy cavalry
stay in melee with an amour-less knife-using untrained peasant is suicidal haha
