Patch 1.3 (M2TW)

I've recently updated my game to version 1.2 which comes with an installer.
Now, I downloaded patch 1.3 but the patch comes with no Read Me and no installer so I'm kind of at loss on how to install it.
I've tried extracting the files to the Medieval 2 Folder but that doesn't seem to work.
Help will be appreciated + rep.

setup.exe has stopped working.

I get that problem everytime I run the setup.exe file.

Just to be sure - are you uncompressing the files first by extracting them to your computer or are you trying to run the setup.exe within the .rar folder?

I'm using 7Zip to unzip the folders so it uncompresses.

Which site are you using for the download? Also, what edition of the game are you using - Original or the Gold Edition? You might have a bad download....

They could be getting corrupted if you are multitasking while downloading. I belive the link I posted in my first post in this thread had more choices.
