Single person mod

Hi!
first of all, I'm totally inesperienced about modding, but i discovered this amazing mod around 1 year ago and i didn't play the vanilla version since then.

now, I was wondering if is possible making a mod (or if there'se one) wher you have direct control of a single man (E.G.: a hero), moving it with WASD, making some kind of mount and blade battle style.

please, consider that I'm a total noob, so it's just a wonder.



if this is the wrong section, i apologize, but it seemed the most appropriate to me.

Direct control of one man? Heavily doubt it. Just get Mount and Blade if that's what you're looking for. There's a Lord of the Rings mod for that if I remember correctly, or at least there's one in the works. There's a LotR mod being developed for Oblivion as well.

Unfortunately, the game engine doesn't support a single player mode - games like Oblivion, Half Life, and Mount and Blade are those sort of games for that.

As for a M2TW style of game with only single characters, unfortunately, the only possible way of doing that is via the Historical Battles.

I don't see why it's impossible. I mean, the Medieval engine is based off of the engine used in Rome, give or take. It just requires some experimenting.

That's not what the OP asked though. He asked if it's possible to have direct control of a single character as in a first person game (like M&B). Which is impossible.
