Default Changing difficulty settings in running campaign

Is there any way of changing the difficulty settings in a running campaign? I'm a n00b at this, so I've set battle difficulty to medium, but it turns out that it's too easy since the AI is quite passive on this setting. I'd like to spice things up a trifle with the hard setting without having to restart the campaign.

Hmmm? There must be somewhere a save file and if you can open it, you maybe can change the options. So at first search for this file.

You can easily change the battle difficulty in the screen "game options"

However, regarding campaign difficulty, i've always heard it's impossible

    Cheers

Binary file, can't be edited unless you know the internal binary format.
