    Hi,

    I can't recruit any diplomats anywhere...

    Did you build a town hall? You need at least that to recruit your first diplomat.

    Well you should be able to.

    Have you tried reinstalling the mod?

    The order of installation should be:
    1.0 pt 1
    1.0 pt 2
    Hotfix 1 (Not sure if this is still needed)
    1.1
    1.2
    1.3
    1.4
    1.4.1 Bugfixer

    If you use any sub mods makes sure to install them after you have all that done and make sure they are compatible with the current 1.4 build. Not sure if this will fix your problem at all but, reinstalling is usually what I do whenever there are issues with a mod and it usually works. Also if you have vista make sure your UAC is turned off.

    @ArmoredSergeant, Hmm yes I have built many town halls...

    @Baywatch, I installed the mod correctly but I left out the 1.4 bugfixer because it isn't compatible with most submods.

    Oh wasn't aware of that. What submod do you use? It may be a problem with that rather than vanilla TATW.

    None at the moment. Downloaded TA yesterday, heh.

    Well I really can't say what your problem would be I don't believe there were any issues with diplomats before 1.4.1. If you plan on playing with RC/RC it is compatible with the Bugfixer. If your UAC is turned on, I'd disable it and try reinstalling. The UAC is nothing but a pain when installing things on your computer and it's pretty annoying in general. If it's already off then perhaps try reinstalling with the 1.4.1 bugfixer and see if you have any luck.

    Blah, this trouble is of no importance. I'll just wreak mayhem on the desiring trade partner instead.

    I think the OotMM doesn't have Diplomats, if that's your faction.

    Every faction has diplomats, the OotMM too (though they have no town halls and no cities big enough to build them at the beginning).

    This is very fishy. It's virtually impossible for diplomats to not be recruitable unless the op has deleted them out of edb or has in some way tempered with the vanilla game prior to installing tatw.

    Only silly reasons come to mind like mistaking schools (or some other building) for town halls, not recognizing the diplomat ico, etc.

    When you r-click on the town hall, does it show that you buy diplomats? You still didn't mention what faction you're playing.

    You don't. The AI doesn't think, and it's not programmed by CA to understand matters of great importance.

    On a bit more serious note:
    1) Did you do any modding? (Do you even know what modding is?)

    2) Did you encounter any other bugs? Might help us solve the problem.
