Default Which Mod is the best?

Hello all! I've played Empire since it's release date, bought all DLC, played countless campaigns, but now I was looking for more replayability, so I was taking a look at the Mods. I've used mods for the previous TW games (Roma Surrectum, which is amazing, 100 years war Mod, English Civil war mod among others) but I'm rather new for the Empire ones. Though New skinned units are nice, but I was taking a look more at the game play altering ones. Which one would you recommend?

    I'd appreciate your thoughts.

I have darth Mod which is very good. however, darthmod is ALL I`ve tried (apart from little itty, bitty mods), so I won`t vote until I`ve tried all the rest... I can`t make an informed objective vote otherwise.

Of course, finding the time to try every Mod is going to be difficult...

I like Darth Mod lite Normal Unit Sizes. Even though I have the rig to play with the larger numbers, I prefer the Lite version.

Its personal preference. But even if you find a mod you like better, I would have to say that time spent playing Darth Mod will not be wasted.

I've voted Darthmod because I love it, but I will admit that I haven't actually tried any of the others to compare it to. I definitely recommend Darthmod though. Loads of new units and skins and improved CAI and BAI.

A proper Empire is the only one I've considered using.

I've only used darthmod so far , but every modder should be praised for the work they do imo.

I think Darthmod because of the larger armies and the inclusion of other mods but my favourite unit pack has the TAR units but I use the pre-TAR version.

Definitely DM for me-I tried APE:TI briefly, but personnally didn't like it much.

i've tried APR, IS, and Darthmod. APE was too difficult and required too much micromanaging. Darthmod was ok but I didn't like the huge unit sizes. I tried IS and really liked what they did with the mod. They're releasing a big update soon too. I haven't played ETW for a few months but once the update comes out I'm planning on starting a new IS campaign. It's really up to personal taste. I would read through the mod descriptions and decide what you want from a mod and go from there.

Hi pwf224 - then you should also like the latest Darthmod version to which in addition a new version 5.6 will be released soon with some excellent CAI advances, there is also a normal unit size adaptation in the sub-mod section
