Which factions have twohander armed troops?

I've just installed SS6.1 for the first time and am looking around. I ask because I seem to see various twohander armed troops in the loading screen artworks, but I can only find twohanders in the holy roman empire, which don't look like the artwork troops. Did I miss something?

Holy Roman Empire, Scotland, Ireland, - Two handed swords
France,England,portugal, - Two handed war hammers.
Egypt , Denmark - Two handed axes.
There is some more but i dont remember.

Russian factions, denmark, Jerusalem/Crusader, Teutonic, and Byzantine empire have some 2 handed axe men. Some of them have 2h swords and halberd troops. Late era foot knights for many european nations have 2 handed weapons. I think the Crusader States were in many of the artworks displayed in loading screens.

They have complete info on units in M2TW Vanilla, Kingdoms, Stainless Steel, Deus Lo Vault, Third Age (many other M2 mods too).......as well as Empire and Napoleon.

There's probably 4 or less factions that actually don't have 2 handed shock troops.

Most twohanded have the HRE and Jerusalim. Best are germans who have lot of mercenary too.

I'm going to counter all claims of Two Handed Supremacy with two words. Swiss Halberdiers. I love them so much. Sure, they're mercenaries, but I don't really care. Swiss mercenaries are where it's at.

Course, they might not be as amazing in Vanilla Stainless. I play RR/RC.

Just out of curiosity. Do the two handed sword factions units have a strong usage in late game? Because in comparison to axes or other ap weapons, the use of charging a line of say Gothic Knights into a defensive faction with high armour ratings seems... well like suicide. lol

Do you see gothic in charge? Because I test them vesus late pikes, musketeers and different other troops. Belive me, they rock. In fact HRE units are in my opinion the best of the best.

I prefer Halberdiers. Halberds are my favorite unit to use. Obudshaer are absolutely brutal, as are Swiss Pikemen. There's nothing like ripping Lancers to shreds. And hell, they rock against infantry as well. I also love my Janissaries, but of course they don't get the lovely spear wall.
