    Default Multiple crowns?

Hi, I love the extra ancillaries for DLV, one thing that id like to see would be the ability for your faction leader to be king of multiple factions

    Example

Your Faction is Denmark and you wipe out england, you get a notification saying the lords wish you to be crowned King of England. If you take the crown you get the normal bonuses for your faction leader, However the risk of rebellion is greater if your faction leaders authority is low.

Another twist to this could be that if there is an unpopular leader in a nearby faction, you could get a mission from the Nobles of that faction requesting you invade to take the crown for your own, if you do so you get a large bonus (15-30k)

Is this possible? If so what do you think of the idea?

    It's pver the top Excellent!
Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

Hang on... the difference is the event popup and the effect on unrest yes?

I'm confused because we already have multiple crowns. When you take an ancestral capital and kill a faction, you get their crown.

So if you killed 6 factions you would most likely be unable to take their crowns and you would have to deal with unrest due to the ancillary limit of 8, am I missing something?

The concept of crowns is a very interesting and subjective idea. I like the "mission" to take the enemy crowns - alot.

The idea I would like to see, is where my king takes a crown, then that faction become my vassal.

Example: So lets say I play as Denmark. My faction is growing and I, Canute the Great want more land. If I send an assassin or army to take down English king, AND conquer their Capital and place my king their to get crowned -- I automatically gets England as my vassal.

Maybe taking a crown should be made abit more difficult, but the idea makes my knees soft

Plus, to give ability to present to your General (or son) one father's crown and forming new realm that was conquered by you before.

F.e. King of England and Scotland will give crown of Scotland to younger son with restoring of Scotland realm)))

    i'd much prefer personal unions
as in , lets say you are hungary and you married a russian princess , the russian tsar had no hier therefore your faction king will become the king over the two nations , though you dont control russia , russia would enter a war automatically if you are in one and you get an economic bonus
    sounds good ?

this is an interesting idea, unworkable I think but a very nice one...would bring a whole new level to marraige alliances. But that would essentially mean the sons of a marriage between a prince and princess would have to be in both family trees.

As I said, unworkable I think.
