SD-MMC SLOT ON HP LAPTOP WONT WORK WITH 4GB SDHC CARD/DISK.

Been trying to get this dam 4GB SDHC card to work on my laptop it has the slot i clicked it in fine then nothing its just lifeless ...... the slot is called on the laptop SD-MMC And my Card is a 4GB SDHC SANDISK.

MADE IN CHINA LOL.

It's because the reader isn't HC compliant and there's nothing you can do.

If your laptop is old then this understansable but if it's less then 2 years old then all I will says this typical of American corprations like HP who pick suppliers the lowest cost provider basis and this is a consquence of that methodology.
