Ok don't know if anyone has mentioned this here before but here I go, anyway there's only a few forgiven films I like, But I'm quite interested in this, now its by a Chinese Director and its set during the Japanese occupation of Nanking in 1937. Ok now I saw this on the Empire website where they chat with the director who is Lu Chuan, now he's set the film in Black & White as he said he got the inspiration to do so from Schindler’s List, also the mention it has some great battle scene's "At its centrepiece is one of the most awe-inspiring onscreen battles since Saving Private Ryan". Ok so what do people think? I think I might have to give it a shot as its always nice to see a War film other than Americans and Nazi's

Full Interview with Lu Chuan on the Empire website (also some pics of the film)
