New Weapons for Units.
I want to create a dedicated sword unit for the Greeks. It will have the same armour and looks like a hoplite except it will just wield a sword. And must be usable in the campaign. All i'm changing i suppose is the weapon
How am i going to do this. Just list the steps and give a rough description of what to do and the names of folders and if i get stuck, i'll ask for help.

firstly you will need 3dsmax to change the primary/secondary weapons,do you have it?
secondly you will need a 2d graphic application like gimp or photoshop
third you must download the dds converter from the download section to convert the dds textures to tga to be able to modify
and fourth download a version of vencinzertorix CAS IE to use with 3dsmax for being able to open the model CAS files
if you have all this then you are ready for the rest,
do you have them?

The 3dsmax will be a problem. My computer has 256 MB Ram and the 2011 3ds max needs 2GB RAM and 4GB recommended
My graphics card is a 32MB one.

if you dont get your 3dsmax to work you cant change the weapon on your hoplite model
