Yes. I want to equip every soldier with these upgraded guns.

Every gun will have twice the range, cause twice as many casualties and be twice as accurate. So riflemen and skirmishers will still be able to shoot further than the standard line infantry.
How do i do this??
BTW This may change if i feel that its out of proportion. I just need to know how to change the stats for guns.

I have tried upgrading their damage but nothing seems to change

1-edit export_descr_unit, seek out the units you want to change: in the primary weapons section, there should be a range part (going from 70-130m in N2TW), just change it to 140-260m
2-go to descr_firearms_new, look for the projectile weapons the units you modify use, and place these values:

a-velocity: 350
b-accuracy: whaever number/ sqrt2 (the closer to zero, the more accurate.
