Patch Error

So I installed Kingdoms and am currently patching it, however I got this error three times (Once for each kingdoms campaign I installed)

Error: invalid or missing target C:\Program Files(x86)blah blah\mods\teutonic\packs\localized.pack

Failed to update Medieval II total War: Teutonic, please try this update again.

Should I reinstall Kingdoms or should I just ignore this?

I plan to play the LOTR and Warhammer mods, do they even need this patch?

EDIT: *Facepalm* I think it's because I was trying to install the gold patch when I don't have gold. I'm an idiot, just ignore me.

They only made Gold patches when the patch was released. You just weren't aound for the yelling at .com when it happened.

I hope you get it patched and working inspite of this.

I get the same message error, and I'm not trying to install the gold patch. Tried multiple times, downloading multiple patches and tried em all...none of em work. I just got windows 7...is there something special that I need to do in order to install the patch?

What language version your Gold edition?

Its the US-english version (live in California), and it isn't the gold patch since I don't have that. It worked fine on my other computer, but that had windows xp not windows 7, so thinking that might be the problem somehow.

I have the old Kingdoms disc before Gold was a dream, I live in California, I have Win7 64bit, and had no problems.

Disable the UAC if you haven't It causes more problems than it's worth to me.

I guess the patch must have been different. I uninstalled and reinstalled kingdoms then downloaded a new patch from the Sega website...finally worked. Thanks for your help. Now I can play SS and TATW again!
