Is this even thread worthy?
Its not cutting edge tech, India is just failing at creating engines which have been in use by countries like the US since the 60's. These engines for example are what power the space shuttle. Interesting fun fact, the piping on said engines is INSANE. The expansion joins have to encompass not only the super cooled liquid but the engine movement as well, very complex stuff going on in it. Its also piped around the nozzle of rocket to aid in cooling.

third world countries shouldnt use Rockets
Hmm, a country where 80% of the population lives on under 2$ a day, is building it's own rockets just to increase it's already super-inflated ego. Although stuff like this would be good if India can first lift it's people out of poverty.
Rockets are big business, India has claimed a fair share of commercial launches.
Precisely, It launched Israel's spy satellite the other day! It's big money, and India's ISRO does it cheaper than any other space agency.
