    Icon8 governor points always zero

DLV is great mod,the 6.2 version is stable and challege,i like that,

i played as byzantine in the past one week, and seven hours everyday,

for survival,i focus on military defend, now my military points is max 100points,

but it is 20-30turns that the governor point remain zero, always zero,i can not upgrade any large town to city,

what can i do?i have occupy every rebel fort in my ruled territory, and the orthodox level is increasing by priest, military force not expaning now and stop expansion,

it looks my people is now in good live,

but the governor points is zero, every turn,

i have greatest king and general and army,i shall elimated hungray and vience, but i wait for the governor points increasing, without further development of city the game become not funny,

i read the manual and try to get the idea of the calculation of governor points,

is that because i have been zero for 30-40turns that i have to wait 30-40turns to get back to above zero points,

please do me a favour and make your suggestions,

    thanks,everyboday

Well , there 's a very good strategy guide stickied in this forum , I'd suggest you read it if you haven't.

What I do to generate government points is to make sure I have an income of at least 50k , and have dedicated governors in all my cities. Always does the trick for me . I always end up with maximum government points , long before I reach that mark with my military points.

And finally , I hope that Taiji doesn't read this . Because he will make it harder for me to generate gov points in his next BB version.

Yeap… Reading manual prior to assembly would help you with many so-called spare parts. LOL Manuals are well written, take time to read them. My issue is when does game evaluate how much money do you have? I guess by the end of turn. For inexperienced players with DLV, confusion might arise due to the game evaluates happiness of cities at beginning of turn. To accumulate government points it is important to keep all your cities at green. The problem is that population grows and green city might turn yellow by next turn. In addition, my favorite tactic is to siege a city full of infantry with few knights. AI will no doubt attack during the turn. Infantry can be easily split, divided, outmaneuvered, and forced to fight in unfavorable situation. The problem is that city will most likely be red at beginning of the turn and cause you to loose government points. However, you will get used to it and make up for government points in other ways. DLV ROCKS!

Rules of government points accumulation will make it harder to expand at beginning of the game very fast. You will have better game if you take it easy and abandon initial expansion to concentrate on government points accumulation until you reach 100 points. I build up my reputation and relations with enemies by freeing captives. After, I have 100 government points gloves come off and I play dirty. My strategies vary from game to game to keep it interesting.

After 100 Government points are reached, there is no effect on game for loosing them?
