Vanilla is just the basic game. WITHOUT mods haha
oh lmfao alright, thanks ! can u suggest me any good mods for rome total war?also, how can i increase the number of turns i have during campaign, + after ending my last turn, does the game still continues or is it game over already? :/
The most popular mods are "Europa Barbarorum "and "Rome:Total Realism" and after you reach the last turn you will be presented with a "continue campaign" option so don't worry
"The challenge of modernity is to live without illusions and without becoming disillusioned. " - Antonio Gramsci
"Those who do not move, do not notice their chains." - Rosa Luxembourg
oh thank you![]()
Can you guys give me a link to where to download these 2 awesome mods your saying? A direct link please, with instructions and stuff ahah..
Just take a look at the "RTW Hosted Modifications" page in this forum. There you can find these two mods and all the others including the download links.
For Europa Barbarorum you need to install version 1.1: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=157181
and update it with the patch 1.2: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=207235
If you have further question please ask in their subforum. There you will get qualified help.
But be aware that EB is a very complex mod. Some people donīt like that many additional features. And it has four turns per year so donīt know if you want playing beyond the timeframe after more then 1100 turns.
btw. if you are interested in an earlier timeframe you could try "Rise of Persia", one of my favourite mods - featuring complete new factions (f.e. five greek city states and all the famous eastern empires of the 6th century BC) and a map spanning from south Italy deep into India.
