Version question Patch "1.6" 1.5.0. 1330.21557

After the update of empire my actual version nr. is 1.5.0. 1330.21557, not 1.5.0. 1332.21992.
I checked the patch packs- patch pack 5 is installed.

Do I have the actual patch "1.6" installed on my pc?
What to do if not- the auto update of steam doesn´t find a new version.

I've heard that the version number hasn't been updated. So you could have patch 1.6, but the game still shows 1.5....

I've heard it, i'm not sure of it.

just check your data folder for patch 5 and checksum these were the only two files added, patch 4 and the empire exe were changed in the same update

I´ve the patch5 and cheksum in the data, but the digital signatur of empire.exe shows wednesday 3rd Feb. 2010. Is something wrong with the "empire .exe" What to do to get the updated one? (Do I need it to run the patch correct?).
Thanks- i know its a very special situation but maybe i can get advices.

When i check my data folder, patch4, patch5 and checksum were all altered on 8/4/2010, so i think i'm fully updated

Hi T.Lexx - no probs., can I suggest that you do the following as there quite a significant of coding file changing in both the older updated files (empire.exe and patch 4)

Activate steam - right click on the game - click properties - local files - verify the integrity of the local game cache

Any files not properly patched should then be updated

The step to verify the integrity of the local cache was the solution for my problem. After checking and downloading the update again, all thing are there- incl. the "correct" version Nr.

Can you post a screenshot of a menu that says "1.6"? I've never heard of anyone managing to get it done.

Hi Frederf - I think the OP means that he now has 1.5.0. 1332.21992 after completing the update, perhaps there has been another mini update I am sure he will clarify
