Ok.. now this might seem a prett silly question:
I've just given the Partian's and the Armenian's a taste of their own medicine (only after having conquered Pergamon) and taken over several cities in Asia Minor and the far east (including one that I had to give up at the first turn as the Seleucids). What really surpised me was how built up all of these were in building types, where as I have yet to get Babylon or even Anticoh to anywhere near as sophisticated ! Is it simply becuase as the Seleucid's your starting from nearly zero across such a large land mass and no. of settlements and then finding yourself instantly under attack from several factions at the same time that your unable to match the rival AI factions for builidng up or is there something else going on that I've missed ? How's the AI deciding on which building types to go for rival factions?
In the vanilla RTW playing VH/VH I was able to match or surpass the AI builds for the other factions as the Seleucids but in RS that's clearly not the case.
Cheers
