Default De Facto versus De Jure Legion Commander

First of all, I wanna say: Great mod! One of the best! I like it's stability and the almost unnoticeable and smooth running of the added scripts. It even feels like I'm just playing vanilla; no lag at all. Add to that the fact that the mod itself, with its whole caboodle of unique features, really immerses you deep into the game. The great skins, the simple but fun cursus honorum system, and the sundry little tweaks that add more spice and oomph to the game make the ExRM a best buy, so to speak.

Now I just have a little problem, and it relates to the implemented Roman Leadership System. What happens is this: If my Tribunus Militum has a greater number of command stars than my Praetor/Legatus Legionis, he becomes the de facto commander of the army; thus, my Praetor/Legatus Legionis does not get the credit (and the benefits) from the army's victories.

Is there a way to fix this? Because, inmyhumbleopinion, it negates the supposed "realism" of this wonderful Extended Realism mod. Additionally, I don't really like my Tribunes to take over commands of my armies even if they're geniuses of the battlefields. No sir, not even if my Praetor is a proven dunce and moron.

Again, kudos to the makers of this wonderful, wonderful mod. Mabuhay!

The general with the highest command leads the army. We can't do anything about that. I'm planning on having a look at all the traits in the game and changing it all so that getting 10 command is exceptionally hard. Hopefully this would mean legates typically have more command than tribunes, praetors more than legates and consuls more than praetors.

"Dad, are you really sure you want to send our cavalry into that swamp? Wouldn't it be better to send them to kill their general, who's standing alone over there?"
"Good point Marcus. Centurion! Take your troop and kill that SOB over there!"
    "Yes general!"
"With this experience you're getting Marcus, I swear you're learning all the time."

Graciasfor clarifying that. I guess I'll just have to turn a blind eye to the young 'uns uh... blatant usurpation of authority, so to speak. Surprisingly, it's much closer to what's really happening IRL. lol If I may be so bold to suggest, I think adding more command stars to accompany each rank promotion would also help rectify this kind of situation. Currently, if I'm not mistaken, legates, praetors and consuls only get one command star as incentives.

On a more practical note, ancillaries are the key to making a general. Stick a priest of Jupiter, merc captain, veteran centurion on your praetor, and that's +3 command before counting traits, which should outweigh any bright young thing who isn't called Scipio Africanus.
