Hey help about end dates

Does the end date of 14 AD or 463 in BI end the game ? or can you continue ? i have the mac version so they are version 1.0 so im not sure.. and can i continue even if i reach the victory conditions and end date ? what will end the game?

I think you can contine, but even a monkey can conquer the whole world by 14 A.D. without stressing.

If you win you get a normal victory, from there you can continue and conquer the whole world (every province). If you do it before 14 A.D (it goes real fast once you get big) you get a total victory.
