    Default Traits and Ancillaries

    POST ALL YOUR IDEAS FOR TRAITS AND ANCILLIARIES.



    You can also post pics that can be used for anchilleries

    Name: Name of the Ancillary/Trait
    Description: make a little description, to be shown in the game
    Factions: to wich factions AND/OR cultures
    Effect/Bonus: gives what bonuses (authority, morale, hitpoints, etc..)
    Trigger: how does a general/agent gets this?
    Comments: is this ancillary trasmissible from father to son?, or any other idea?
    Images (if possible): if you can find a image, to be in the game as ancillary image would be very helpful
    here is also the tempalte we use for every ancilliary. so if its not too difficult, copy your picture into this template, it would save us a lot of time





    Copy it, remove the red text and fill in your own.

    ps: congratz on being hosted!

    I don't know if it's correct that gold at that time was already being forged ou handled. But this is my idea

    Name: Golden Sword
    Description: Only the greatest generals receive such prize, altough it's not used for combat, it represent the importance of the owner
    Factions: (It's up to you guys haha)
    Effect/Bonus: +3 Popularity ; + 3 Morale ; -1 Command when attacking ( golden swords are not used for combat)
    Trigger: After 2 Heroic Victorys or 5 Victorys
    Comments:
    Images (if possible):

    Are you willing to include elements from the mythology ? If yes, there are lots of stuff to work on for ancillaries, like the sling of david for example (between many).

    Ok so my 1st one:

    Name: The Sling of David
    Description: This legendary yet simple weapon belonged to the not less legendary David. The poor looking of this weapon hide its true value, as it has been able to put down Goliath with one shot. The one who wield such weapon will never know fear even when the odds are against him.
    Factions: Kingdom of Judah
    Effect/Bonus: +4 to morale
    Trigger: sorry no idea
    Comments: ancillary transmittable

    Name:
    King of Tyre
    Description: The King of Tyre rules one of the worlds greatest trade cities. The massive community of merchants provide valuabe expertice about trade. The massive wealth also decreases the kings loyalty to his superiours.
    Factions: All
    Effect/Bonus: +10% trade -2 loyalty
    Trigger: Stay in Tyre for one turn.
    Comments: Only one character can hold the title at a time.

    Name: Priest of Thoth
    Description:A priest to the egyptian god Thoth, the god of wisdom and the patron of the scribes.
    Factions:

    Effect/Bonus:
    +5% tax income +1 authority
    Trigger: random chance each turn when staying in a settlement with a temple to Thoth.
    Comments: not transferable

    Factions: Assyria, possibly others
    Effect/Bonus: allows construction of siege engines
    Trigger: staying in settlement with educational building 2-4 turns
    Comments: not transferable

    Well I got something youguys may like, that I never seen out there in the mods. I was thinking about armors set, like Helmets, Shields, Armours. After you complete the set, you gain the Trait that says you have assembled all the parts.

    My first tought was Achilles armour, so if you like the idea I will post later the set ( 3-4 parts so that it doesn't become impossible or boring to collect all of it). Le me know.

    recruitment requirements are not hardcoded.

    how lame.
    i have obviously not played a campaign of M2TW in a long time.
    even lamer...

    Well maybe tha points spent on the siege could have something about the engineer. Let's say all generals have -300 points, so the siege engineer give then 500 so that the generals can build the siege towers, etc.

    Well here it is my idea (sorry for the english)

    Achilles Armour

    ANCILLIARES


    Name: Achilles Helmet
    Description: Once used by the greatest warrior of all time, this Helmet is said to be made by the God Vulcan itself. After the fall of Troy, and his death, all his equipement was mainted in temples, but after bandits and sacks made the armour was spread around the world. The very sight of this helmet make enemies tremble, and allies to rejoice.
    Factions: All since it's scattered all around the map
    Effect/Bonus: + 1 Dread, + 2 HitPoints , + 2 Morale
    Trigger: Maybe in a specific greek settlement / (Don't know if it's possible maybe hardcoded, but I was thinking that if you defeat an army containing Greek Troops or mercenaries this item could drop)
    Comments: If the general that have this item dies, the enemey general can receive it / It's possible to pass this item to other generals, but with the downside of having a negative trait (going to explain)
    Images (if possible):

    Name: Achilles Cuirass
    Description: Once used by the greatest warrior of all time, this Cuirass is said to be made by the God Vulcan itself. After the fall of Troy, and his death, all his equipement was mainted in temples, but after bandits and sacks made the armour was spread around the world. Wearing this armour means that the owner it's almost invecible, this set piece is flawless, light as a leaf and hard like diamond.
    Factions: All since it's scattered all around the map
    Effect/Bonus: + 6 HitPoints , +2 Morale, + 2 Security (let's say it's hard to kill him because of the armour)
    Trigger: Maybe in a specific greek settlement / (Don't know if it's possible maybe hardcoded, but I was thinking that if you defeat an army containing Greek Troops or mercenaries this item could drop)
    Comments: If the general that have this item dies, the enemey general can receive it / It's possible to pass this item to other generals, but with the downside of having a negative trait (going to explain)

    Description: Once used by the greatest warrior of all time, this Shield is said to be made by the God Vulcan itself. Achilles weak spot was his ancle, but besides that his defense was supremme, and his shield is a proof of that.
    Factions: All since it's scattered all around the map
    Effect/Bonus: + 3 Hit Points, + 1 Morale, + 2 Dread (the sight of Achilles shield should have been very dreadfull)
    Trigger: Maybe in a specific greek settlement / (Don't know if it's possible maybe hardcoded, but I was thinking that if you defeat an army containing Greek Troops or mercenaries this item could drop)
    Comments: If the general that have this item dies, the enemey general can receive it / It's possible to pass this item to other generals, but with the downside of having a negative trait (going to explain)

    Name: Assembled the Achilles Armour
    Description: This General made what many thought it was impossible, he got all of the pieces of armour from the greatest warrior of all times. The people call him now the ''Reincarnation of Achilles'', enemies fear him more than ever, your troops morale is high as ever, and your popularity too
    Effect/Bonus: + 3 Popularity , + 2 Morale , + 2 Dread
    Trigger: After all pieces of armour are reunited this Trait is triggered
    Comments: If one of the pieces is removed, he loses this trait and receive the negative trait below ; When your general gains this traits he receives title '' the Reincarnated''

    Name: Relic Right Removed
    Description: His King thinks he is not worthy of having this relic, and now he sees his King as an enemie.
    Effect/Bonus: - 2 Popularity , -4 Loyalty, - 200% cost to bribe
    Trigger: If one of his ''relics'' is removed he gains this trait
    Comments: If the relic is returned, he loses this trait.
