Rome Total War on Intel GMA 500
Hi all,
Just picked up a Dell 1010 Inspiron Mini Netbook. The graphics card is an Intel GMA 500.
Obviously, this thing was not designed for gaming and I didn't purchase it as a gaming platform, but I was curious to see if some of the greatest hits would run on it for the heck of it. Anyway I installed Rome: Total War Gold without a hitch and managed to get the program started.
The issue is that on the battle map there are bizarre graphic artifacts and washed out colors that make the thing unplayable. I can only assume that this is a graphics card-related issue. Just out of curiosity, has anyone run the thing on a GMA 500? If so is there a specific tweak, fix or update that will rectify the graphics issue?
Thanks!

Forget battles and just autoresolve. Dell didn't give your chip enough memory for battles.
