    Default Your Most Hated Enemy?

    Hello there!

As the topic title says, who is your most hated enemy in Third Age: Total war?

Personally, playing as the High Elves, my worst enemy is, ironically, the dwarves.

In the start of the game, I took two of their closest kingdoms in a quick Blitzkrieg, but it didn't seem like they forgot that so easily, as later into the game, the dwarves came hellbent on my destruction, constantly attacking my most remote and undefended settlements with no end while I was fighting OOTMM and Isengard, and then I even remember once that the Dwarves walked through the entire empire of the Northrmend with a great army while their own lands were beseiged by the dark forces just to attack two useless and small settlements.

At least I'm pushing those little buggers back to the hole they came from, and when I do, I'll plug it so I'll never see them again!

As Gondor it is Mordor because of the full stacks that reach Osgilliath before I do.

Depends on the current faction I play...

With Gondor... well, I think it's Harad (because of their cavalry) It is true, their units are weak, but they are huge in numbers...

Mordor can be beaten easily with good troops of Gondor

But with my favorite factions (both elves)
I thinks it's those b*stards of the Misty Mountains
especially when you try to siege Moria...
Huge amount of troops appers in the city (garrison script)
    and the Balrogs
Their normal troops you can pepper with elven archers

But... you can split them in half with Mithlond warriors or with Eldar Swordsmen
With silvans it's a bigger prob. to "split them in half"

    Worst or Most Hated?

In campaign, the worst maybe Mordor, just because of its stackspam.

The Most Hated are Sylvan Elves, obviously XD

isengard. apart from the irritating snaga spam, they tend to be overpowered at autoressolve. they ALWAYS beat the AI, so that they are hardly ever defeated. in my gondor campaign (m/m), i alone am pretty much defeating mordor (taken barad-dur, minas morgul and black gate) and harad, while rohan, eriador and HE seem unable to defeat the uruk-hai. actually all three of them are slowly losing settlements. plus, playing as HE i almost eliminated isengard early in the game (always my first priority) and, when they had only isengard left, they kept spawnning stacks.

someone have had same experiences as I have
yeah... it's always so nice to see that half of their full stacks are filled with their "weak" cavalry
and then they come and... half of your army is wiped out before you can say "watch out, they have cavalry!"
just dying men lying all around

It's easy to avoid that, have 3-4 units of archers and half the cavalry will be wiped out by the time they reach your lines

    trying to be smart?

I always have 4-5 units of Gondor archers in my armies, they are very good at range and they also can defend themself in melee (if necessary)

But still, they are really annoying with their "crap" cavalry...
and they actually can use their cavalry effectively first by surrounding my forces and then charging, after that they retreat and charge in the back of my lines
well, they use the same tactic always using stakes is very effective when you have 5 units of archers who can deploy them.

I have only once lost a battle against them, they had 10 units of cavalry with them
    it was a tough fight...

As ootmm I'll have to say elves, both SE and HE. Not to say that the dwarves and eriador arent extremely annoying, but the elves are sort of the antithesis of the Goblins, so as enemies they are both the worst to battle and the most satisfying to slaughter. Any battle is at a huge cost because of their archers, and everything has to be absolutely right to exterminate them.

And I do believe that the Goblins themselves (a reasonable assumption from the lore) will have much more fun destroying Elronds and Celeborns sissy houses (and then staging humorous puppetshows with their corpses), than they have sacking Bree or dwarven underground cities.

I'd have to say Harad. Their cities are so far apart, and it takes even longer to get around seeing as you have to carry siege weapons to counter the darn Mumakil. Super annoying to invade, and Gondor doesn't have a good chokepoint to defend against them either, because they actually invade by sea.

As the all mighty High Elves I would have to say the BACKSTABBING MOTHER F%*CKING DWARVES!!!!!!!!!
I took out Isengard as the HE real early on, as in I threw everything I had at them and defeated them with some ridiculous battles and simply annihalated the buggers.
And then my Dwarven buddies declare war on my brethren the Sylvan elves, so obviously i side with the Elves.

150 turns later I've taken out the OOTMM, Eriador, and Rohan (they started it ) and am fighting Mordor with my Golden Legions of the Noldor with my Gondorian allies.

Yet the Dwarves will not bugger off!!!!! They've conquered a lot of Rhun and now they've got full stacks pumpin out those midget retards. HOW DARE THEY THINK THEY CAN FIGHT THE MIGHT OF THE ELVES!!!

I agree with SinerAthin, Push the dwarves back into the Hole they came from!!!!! Blitzkrieg High Elven Style!!!!

I think Mordor because the stackspam armies mean i have to fight 3+ battles each turn as Gondor which gets boring as they all seem to be a copy/paste of the same army over and over again

I also think Harad are my worst enemy because of their annoying voices when they shout a command

I would say the Dwarves or Mordor. Dwarves because it's really really hard to kill them properly (heavy armor) even playing with the High Elves. Mordor because of those full stacks coming again and again from nowhere

Right now, Rhun. They've been granted access to all their heavily armored units, and keep spamming them and cavalry. No matter how many crossbow bolts I pour into them, they just keep a-walkin' up to me. Also, cavalry. *Grumble grumble*

Isengard might just be #2, since they won't leave me alone to recoup my losses after I crushed them at Orthanc. Also, they seem to have half-conquered Gondor. Crap.

Sauron is my worst enemy, he just make the evil faction living and sending invasion calls against me
