    Default Rebel Banners

Some of the faction 'rebels' are using old banners that don't work well with the new ones. Could someone help Pacco come up with some symbols?

    The banners in question are:

    standard_barb_rebels.tga.dds
    standard_barb_rebels_ally.tga.dds
    standard_eastern_rebels.tga.dds
    standard_eastern_rebels_ally.tga.dds
    standard_egyptian_rebels.tga.dds
    standard_egyptian_rebels_ally.tga.dds
    standard_greek_rebels_ally.tga.dds

How does one open a .DDS file?

using GIMP or photoshop, but you may need a .dds plug in.

The things above look good, but we can't use celtic knotwork as it's beyond our time frame:

Here's the link to the Gimp .dds plugin. Just put it in the Plugin folder in your Gimp directory. May take some searching to find it tough.

Ah, so Photoshop cannot open .DDS files natively? Is there perhaps a plug-in, similar to your find lolgast, that works with Photoshop?

In the meantime, I'll Google for it

Found one and opened the first TGA.DDS file. Anything specific I should know before I dabble with it?
