Install problems
Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I didn't see a clear Tech support. =(
Anyway, I'm trying to reinstall Rome: Total War and when the client comes up the "Install" button is just greyed out and I can't install it. any advice on how to fix this?

Re: Install problems
1. Make sure you have all Rome Total War folders deleted. In Vista and 7, that means Program Files and appdata.
2. Run a registry cleaner like eusing Free Registry Cleaner to finsh CA's job.
3, Reboot.
4. Now, install.
Godd luck.

Re: Install problems
Thanks you so much for this, it fixed the problem and I was able to install, but I seem to be having the same problem with the Barbarian Invasion expac, I tried clearing the registry again and a few other things so any info on that would be amazingly helpful.

Re: Install problems
It sounds like regedit time.
If you have all traces of Rome folders gone, BI should have gone with it.
What version of the game do you have and who is the publisher?
