Hi, I am trying my hand at a gunpowder unit, got an animation working, fixed the bullet However my attempts at attatching a new sound to the unit when firing is coming to naught. . They twang away stubornly using the archer effects, despite several attempts at introducing new sounds to them. Do sounds have to unpacked or repacked etc to work? How is the texting done to attach units, I noticed slings are attached to specific units, this was the way I was trying to do it, but ignominius faliure. Are there tutorials on this about firearm units, sounds, smoke effects etc.
Also can units be made to slow down thier rate of fire, (fast firing early muskets are a bit incongrous, i also have crossbows firing as fast as bows) I know this has somthing to do with the animations but is there a way round this, I tried altering in the export_description_unit thing but didn't seem to make any difference.
