Mina Ithil and Osgiliath

Hi, could someone tell me how to make Gondor start out with Osgiliath and Minas Morgul?

really what would be the point of that. the whole purpose is to start out and fight for those settlements thats the whole basic struggle for gondor. thats why its so challenging.

Have to say don't see the point of that at all, let alone agree, however very basic, descr_strat.txt you will find it the imperial_campaigns folder, you will need to remove all three settlements, that's east and west Osgiliath from the rebels and Minas Morgul from Mordor easy way is, cut or copy them from the location or basically remove them and place them all under Gondor, be sure to remove the garrisons from the rebels and mordor as well, again same way. To garrison the settlements you will need general names this can be found in descr_names.txt in the data folder, look up faction name sciliy and choose a name not already used in the strat file, if you copied all the garrison part then you will have the basics for location etc, so just change faction name to sciliy in this line, and generals name age as well, then change garrison soldiers to your preference. There is excellent tutorials which are more if depth if look in the modding part of TWC. Anyway hope this is of use

If you are not a modder I think you will never success if you don't read tutorials about descr_strat.

But I agree with Comandertony, adding thoses cities is very odd. If Osgiliath is a good idea, add minas Ithil is totally wrong in the lore aspect.
