Okay france it is =) this is my first chronicles ever so it should be interesting =)
Difficulty h/m

France
A country known for its 100 year war against the english........and its victory.......

But how shall a new commander cope? Can he lead France to victory? and maybe even take Britan???
Or shall he lose against the power of the english army The Epic Battle Of Knights On Horses Vs LongBow Archers Is Going to be replayed maybe to change history..........


Okay so far i am in the making of recruiting diplomats and making knights stables in paris I have changed all Citys towns and villages to very high tax and when my diplomats are created there going to go to the hre and spain. I now have 3 new commanders (from adoption) i am also sending 2 army one coming from paris and the other coming from Tour. The Tour army consists of Faction heir 3x front line men 2x swiss pikes 2x bourgogne swordsmen The Paris army consists of a family member heavy pike 3x front line men and 2x mailed cav and both armies will randevous at caen to siege the city and hopfully take it over.

but before i hit end turn i want to send an army to bordeaux so i send 3x front line men from tour and two mailed cav leaving 3 front line men + a family mem in tour and im creating two more front line men and i took 3x front line men from angouleme

siege of caen begins i decide to auto resolve since im most likely to win and the results where as follows

and it was a clear victory (more like a lose for me going by kills but anyhow caen is mine!)

I start to retrain my army at caen and enslave the population and change tax to vh and start building milita barracks and crusaders headquarters and repair wooden palisade and trader.
After this I only got 177 denarii and an army 1 turn away from bordeaux so i decide to end the turn
(also a question does the french knights work cause they only got a peasant picture)

next turn i start to build a port in bruges and my diplomat is 1 turn away from torleado and he has got trade rights with the moors my army at bordeaux is now sieging (this will be tough since there army is bigger) I also built 3 more units of front line men. and sent them towards the army at bordeaux although they didnt reach there destinaion they where close enough for reinforcements.

i end the turn.....
on englands turn they had got 2xfrontline men from outside there base and decided to attack my main army with there army inside the base as reinforcement i made short work of there 2 x front line men and then got ready for there main army after a stupid move from them by moving there cav to the wings i sent my 4 units of cav to intercept making thm rout nearly instantly there family mem died like the rest of there army and my cav just hit all there fronts from behind while battling my frontline men and this caused them all to rout i left barely any alive...........Statistics......

CLEAR VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I kill the last of the english 50 front line men who escaped and slaughter them with my 3x frontline men and the commander got the man of the hour or something like that and i accept cause hes got like 5 command starts and 1 management =)

And DRUM ROLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

ENGLANDS OUT OF FRANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Part 2

France

okay my diplomat in spain got trade rights but got rejected for alliance my other diplomat is on his way to poland.
also my diplomat in spain is now going to the moors maybe to get an alliance unsure as of yet but i would like to get an alliance down in spain so i dont have to worry so much about attacks (although neither of them have took the rebel citys beside spain)

There was a small army of hres at the bridge beside bruges i sent a force of 3 fronts and a family member vs there 2 mailed cav and frontline men

Clear victory and easy command stars

I realise Paris is actullay quiet easy for hre to reach so i decide to start making more elite or better units like armoured sergants and feudal knights and armoured swords men.

at antwerp, Hre are lightly defended (this is possibly an opening for a strike which i think i will take) the main hre forces are in trier going towards the rebel city of dijon. This is very dangerous for me as dijon is very close to Paris.

I decide to buy some mercs for my minature army that defeated the one beside Bruges at the bridge the mercs consist of 2x swiss pikemen 1x bourgogne armed swords men 1x Frankish knights 2x skiss halberdiers



I then siege antwerp and send my diplomat going to poland direction through the danish to see if i can get an alliance with thm and if they will commit to my war on hre

I send an army to the rebels at rennes and my diplomat gets me an alliance with the moors although i doubt it will last after i crush those puny little hre MUHAHAHAHAHA!

(end turn)

My dreams get shattered of an alliance with the danishthey allied with the hre (sobs) BUT THEY SHALL DIE JUST LIKE THE HRE!!!!!!! AND ALL HER OTHER ALLIES (including spain)

But then i see an approching army on toulouse i dont know what is in it but toulouse is weak it only has 2 family members and nearly a full stack of fronts =( i hope that hre dont have much to match them.

My army at antwerp is victorious easy and quick CLEAR VICTORY!

Also i got a clear victory at rennes!

But my spies find Hre hordes that where at trier comming towards Paris and the hre army at toulouse is now blocking my trading roads.

I find that the time has come to spam crusaders but i still got to build head quarters.

As i expected toulouse got sieged, i decide to sally out and find what i will be facing......

My fears where diminshed since i have 9x frontline menand 2 family members and they have 5x frontline men and 3x crusader sergeants i think i should win this 1 but i decide to play it just in case.





Heroic VICTORY!

So how did i do it?

Okay this is how my enamy went to the very edge of the forest but not into the forest there was about 5 trees on the east side i sent my second in command to there (it was behind there wing) i then decide to split my infantry into three groups 1 on the west east and middle
the west group went into the forests on there side this attracted a group consiting crusader sergeants and frontline men the battle began in the forests whilst on the east my men had gone at an angle facing the enamy like so: ------- main line / east side was abit a head but with roughly that gap apart the enamy split there main forces again 2 enamy groups of front line men hit my middle line of 3 front line men 3 units of theres 2 crusader sergeant and 1 frontline man hit my east side the cavalry in the trees appeared and they rushed to the aid of the east side which caused there front line to rout now 2 crusader sergeants left the victory was on the balance at this part since my middle line had to kill there two frontlinemen quick enough to rush to the aid of my east side and so they did making the crusaders rout the remaining enamys ran and i got them with my horses and thats how i did it

I retrain my army at toulouse, and build 8 front line men and 1 mailed cav at burges

after ages of travelling i finally reached poland i offered trade rights and an alliance which they said no to. AFTER ALL THAT AND THEY SAID NO! Argh sigh

The army comming towards paris, i decide to take my king and the forces in Paris two the enamy forces and i build a castle right infront of them tehehehehe which they will no doubt siege.

Hre was masscared this victory was a major one this will surely hurt hre.........they spent ages creating this army full of spearmen crossbows and cavalry it was a very strong army how i won i shouldnt have Xd if the ai wearnt so stupid
BUT HEY MAJOR VICTORY FOR FRANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1.counter attack hre
2. Try and get my self a good allie (bad news is hre has got em all)
3.I might eventually start a french crusade to jerusalem and help the crusaders (LONG TERM IDEA)
4. Go towards scotland and see if i can allie with them ( i dont know what to expect whats happening in england)

Carefull with the HRE if you ware with them they send there huge army with lots a gothic knights O_o

Spain will be hard because there be busy with the morish.

heh thanks what the oops i pressed submit to part 2 by accident Xd oh well i'll just add to it although im no going to play online until the chronicles is done cause matputas told me that downloading that file means you have to start a new campaign.

you can ceasefire with england and hre(not neceserly,bad english)then attack spain or portugal
now since you are allied with the moors you could persuade them to help you,after portugal and spain is destroyed cancel alliance with moors and exterminate them
So now France is a superpower!!!!!

cease fire with hre is not optional they won't agree also my alliance with the moors will be used eventually vs spain (if spain last that long) once i destroy hre moors and spain its pretty stright forward from then on i hope.........
