The One Ring has been found!

Im kinda really tired of the One Ring always being found by the General Of the OoTMM. Can't another evil faction find it or is that not possible???

The Ring can be found in moria or the goblin town in the Misty mountains- So usually a OotMM get`s the ring.

and since the OotMM are the first faction meeting the conditions, they will always find them first in vanilla TA:TW.

Just wait for next patch, where the Ring have much, much greater role.
It is almost imposible for another evil faction to find ring, as it spawns for general who is located in Misty Mountains settlement

Well, but you should add that he will play a greater role in a new campaign. As far as i know and hope the ring will stay as important as he is now in the normal campaign.

As far as i know, old campaign will remain same (except eriador)...ring would realy unbalance it

While playing SE I got the "Ring" message, an OMM had it. Later after rampaging the Misty Mountain Legolas got it, and he became "Lord of Terror". After Rohan fell Mordor attacked and killed Legolas and his elves. Few turns later after Mordor occupation of the Misty Mountains I got a message saying a Mordor General had found the ring!

Talk about an ohh sh!t moment!

Legolas became a "Lord of Terror" in my SE campaign, too - but he never had the ring. I guess this title comes from the immense amount of battles he has fought, like some other bad attitudes like lunacy and paranoia I guess Elves are simply not made for going to war... my other 10 star general is an alcoholic ^^

My general that found the ring is pretty nice and normal, though. Very loyal, feared and all in all a really nice guy sitting around in Moria and doing nothing. Hence I cant say the One Ring does have any really important influence how a character evolves. But war definitely has.

Makes me warm and tingly inside every time I see someone bashing the elves.
