I HAVE POSTPONED THE WW2 MOD I HAVE (STILL UP) BECAUSE EMPIRE IS LACKING IN COMPETENCE FOR THE MOD AND HASN'T MET NECCESSARY DEMANDS. However I am prepared to announce a new smaller (but still total conversion kinda) mod based on the Napoleonic wars.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
WHY CHOOSE THIS MOD INSTEAD OF BUYING NAPOLEON: TOTAL WAR?
-It requires less system specs which is ideal for players who don't have enough money (due to recession) or a good computer to run Nap: tw.
-I am in knowledge that a NAP Mod has been made but this one covers 1700-1860 (Hopefully) Ending right before the American civil war. An expansion may be released for the US civil war as a mini mod.
-The AI and compatability in Rome is far superior to that of Napoleon: total war except in graphics. Here you will feel the challenge of facing hordes of Enemy troops.
-AI Will be programmed to use good stacks, rationed out to have max. affect in battle.
-As I said around 50 units will complete the roster of version 1.0 which cover 1700-1860, obviously with different stats and uniform colors, but overall the same body shape. 50 core uniforms that are different (model wise) to eachother.
-Naval battles unfortunately can't be supported, but the construction of a fun and enriching navy in this mod will make up for that in which I will try to fix the Naval Auto resolve.
-Over 150 provinces are to be made compared to the 103 from Rome total war which means that over 50 new provinces are going to be made. Existing ones will be edited out to fit the 18th century political map.
-Relgion has no affect sadly, but new buildings, churchs and things of the sort will be made along with artillery imported from M2tW and reskinned!
-All factions are replaced with new bright factions. Now if your playing as Rome (this case Papal states) you won't feel so lonely only fighting barbarians! Now your fighting professionals and will be corresponding in daily politics every turn!
-The interface and loading screens as well as music may be changed.
Have you ever seen napoleonic infantry run away from guys wielding technology that is 2000 years old?
