    Default [Solved] Strange installation problem

    We are trying to start a hotseat with KGC 4.2, but one of our friends has a strange installation problem:

    Using Windows Vista, UAC off, and following all the instructions described here, he can not install the patch 4.2. The weird thing is the proccess seems to go ok, but then when he starts the game, the "splash" with the Cathedral image is not shown, so he is still using 3.0, and when tries to load the hotseat file, he gets a CTD. Any idea?

    It was the (x86) folder selection problem.
