If USa would fall (whatever this means), China will suffer the most as they won't have where to export their goods. Europe will have to become more united and spend more on defense : Europeans are capable to become the first military power in the world if they cooperate - the Germans, the British, the French will lead European military in a new age; for now Europe is less interested to dominate militarily as America serves as an umbrella, but Europe has a great potential and the many nations and diversity will make her very strong. Japan will be the natural ally of Europe in Asia while China and Russia will be probably the eneimies. A battle for influence between Europe and Chian/Russia will start in Africa, South America and Southern Asia. The Commonwealth will be probably on the side of Europe anyway, so Canada, Australia and also India will enter the European camp. French Africa will stay with Europe also. The wildcard are the Arab/Muslim countries. The speculations can continue ...

Europe would be at the mercy of Russia and the Arab dic(k)-tators. Israel? what Israel!! Japan and South Korea would have nothing to defend itself against China and North Korea. India would be at China's mercy and the Arabs would be at Iran's mercy. The socialists of Latin America would be able to do what they want (not a good thing) the world's economy, technology would suffer grave damage, but the worst thing is that radical Islam would have nothing to pin them down. 306 million people would die/disappear (assuming by 'fall' you mean destroy)

Europe lacks the will to fight. If the US dissapeared then Russia would not take control of all of europe, but it would take control of eastern Europe. I doubt the EU would have the gut to take on Russia, even though it could. Kinda like how britain didn't have the stomach to try to keep its empire alive after WW2.

Europe was in a constant state of war for thousands of years before World War 2. If the USA fell, Europe would quickly realise the need to remobilise and I can assure you that the will to fight would quickly be rekindled (for better or for worse). The reason Europe is like it is at the moment (Aside from the suffering the worst of two world wars) is the fact that America has been there to shelter them.

Only Britain has any semblance of international will, and even then...

Excellent point. I doubt anyone in the British Isles would be willing to support a war against Russia on the behalf of Latvia, or even Poland. The Germans might be, but I doubt us here in the Isles.
