Default Beale's Regiments - Addition of Great Coats and Bicorns MOD

    Hey, Its General Beale here,

Just announcing I am releasing my mini-mod for NTW. Also will be included in my Napoleon Order of War.

    Contents
-French Fusiliers now wear bicorns as well as shakos in a mix, as they did in 1805-1808. So this is historical. As Napoleon introduced shakos in 1804, but only half the men wore them, until 1808, when all soldiers where ordered to wear shakos!
-The Russian Musketeers, now half of a unit wears great coats, just to add diversity and historical accuracy.
-The Prussian Musketeers and Fusiliers also have a mixture of great coats, also for diversity, and they look really awesome.

All of these can be found in NOW (Napoleon Order of War)

    Future additions for Beale's Regiments
-Great coats for the French (going to need some expert help, I have got half of it, but I have problems with the textures loading.)
-To add British Marines (Reikmarshal, for you, but I am going to need someone to create me a new unit, and I'll change their uniform)
-Add more changes to more units

    Some Pictures:

Sorry, those retextures are only part of Napoleon Order of War! But all the greatcoats and bicorns are all part of the mod, with their textures and models!

Can you give the Austrians helmets and Russians their 1805 stovepipes. I've also seen 1805 Russian Grenadiers wear bearskins, I think.
And perhaps even stovepipes for the British instead of their Belgics.

I'll look into them, I'm not a modeler, so I can't create new helmets, but I can certainly give nations different models if they are already there!
Yes, thanks for reminding me about the Austrian helmets!

wOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO MAKE UNITS WITH GREAT COATS ONLY? PLEASE? Because it's weird to have some with great coats and others not, if you fight under snow or rain, in winter every man should have coats. Perhaps later you can add the leather protection on the shako too and make coats for french army too.

    Great work anyway!

No, I prefer having only some units, cause its up to the soldier wether he wants to wear it or not, so I based it upon the average temperature, and that some soldiers may be hot and/or cold!
And giving them all great coats would take away that beautiful of the Napoleonic uniforms, as the Nap Wars had the world most beautiful uniforms! SO I still wanted to keep that!

And atm, it is only possible to give great coats to Russia and Prussia, due to the atlas files! but a modding genius will figure it out!

And it is completely compagable with Lord Mongsworth work. Unless he edits the unit.varient files!

In the next version, which will only be released with Napoleon Order of War, the Austrians wear the 1805 helmets!

I was thinking about one thing: you could make with one unit, make 3:
    -the one without coat
-the one mixed with and without
    -the third with only coats.

I assume that when soldiers are fighting in winter, it's not anymore a question of cold and hot: everyone with his coat!

This is a good mod and i would download it if i weren't an aesthete, but i can't comprehend half of my fusiliers having one type of hat and the others having Bicorns!

Nicely done, and i look forward to any further editions of this mod!

I hate it when the stuff I want is only packed with a mod full of other stuff I may or may not want.
Nor do I feel like gutting your mod out with PFM, either.
