    Default Conquering Rome

    Hi everybody,

I'm playing RTW: Total Realism and I'd like to know if there is a way to conquer Rome (having conquer already the provinces that are needed to win the game) and don't win the game.

I'd like to continue my empire after conquering Rome. Is there a way to do this? If I change the winning condition in one of the game's files, when I conquer Rome I've got a CTD (Crash to Desktop).
    I'm missing something?

    Thank you.

Doesn't saving at the victory screen and then reloading work?

    Thanks lifehole for response,

No, When I kill the last family leader of the Republic of Rome, when I go back from the battle to the campaign map, the game goes into a CTD (Crash to Desktop). It doesn't show me the victory video, or anything.

Do you know why? Or how can I conquer Rome and not win the game?

    Thanks

I really don't know much about RTR, but I would recommend that you don't edit the files. Isn't there an option that you can continue once you take Rome? If not then there should be one.
when the union's inspiration through the worker's blood shall run,
there can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun,
yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one?
but the union makes us strong.

What RTR realism version are you playing; and in theory like Frederick said you are able to continue playing even if the campaign is already won. As in any other mod or vainilla.
