So who among you watch this show? It just wrapped up its third season, which was great. Personally, I'd say this is my favorite show on tv right now. I've been watching it since the pilot and I absolutely love it.

If anyone is wondering, its about a bad ass spy from the CIA who gets a burned for some unknown reason. He gets dumped in Miami and told to go on with his life and stay there or he'll be on every wanted list if he leaves, instead of playing their game he's trying to find out who burned him and for what reason. While he does this he helps people with their problems, usually for money, using the skills he learned as a member of the CIA. Its a great show with a great cast. I highly recommend it.

Plus, Michael has great taste in clothes.

I love the show, got hooked on it about a year ago. They had a marathon on of it during the late morning I believe on USA(might have changed the name of the station by now, I only know the old name XD). I would watch it while playing Third Age total war. It was a great combination

Yeah, it's easy to get hooked. I was actually back at my base in the fleet and my mom recommended it to me and I was like uhhh okay I don't think my mom can recommend me a legit show, but I was wrong. Actually, she's done a great job of recommending shows to me. Anyways, I love how he explains stuff that he's doing. They must have a pretty good technical adviser because he actually does hit on stuff that's legitimately about the spy biz. Like I've seen stuff that other movies and shows haven't really shown.

Oh yeah, like in the one episode, he made a very small, yet workable antenna (forget what for) inside a office building that would be akin to a social building (lots of people working on computers). He used like a cup, some clips and something else. I was shocked, as I did a small search, and it seems to be true. Heh, just saying that makes me think of him as the macgyver of the modern age XD. I just worry they might dumb the show down or something. I have seen quite a few shows, damn good ones end up dieing since they kill the stuff in it to fit into the public wants or need, or not to upset people. Like when Monk was first on, they showed just a bit of the murder, that was all, so you could sit there and pretend you were in the show trying to guess the murder and all. My dad loved the show so much. Next season they basically hand you the murder, and the ones after that they show you everything to it. It was no longer something one could connect to and play with, but just something to watch.

Yeah, he does some pretty impressive stuff. My buddy used to be in ANGLICO and learned all sort of crazy ways to make an antenna, it's pretty cool. But I don't see Burn Notice sliding in quality like you mentioned, it's USA's most popular show and I think the highest rated on cable. They have a great formula right now.

Best show on TV at the moment, in my opinion.

Well written, well acted, plenty of action (that is completely plot-relevant), exquisite suits, and Bruce Campbell. It's always fun to see what new persona/cover Michael will throw on for a particular job - I think that's actually one of my favorite aspects of the show.

New season starts in the beginning of June, and I'm totally pumped.

^I wouldn't go so far as to say that, but it's definitely a great show. I think "Mythbusters" should just have a whole episode dedicated to some of the stuff they do in Burn Notice, like bulletproofing a car with just phonebooks

Yeah, I over-simplify. I should addend that with "on non-premium cable", and even then I probably wouldn't fight anyone over it

I would go that far. It's certainly my favorite ongoing show.

I'm told mythbusters did exactly this with their latest episode.

What did you guys think of the third season finale?
There's an unavoidable bonus to viewers just for being on Fox, ABC, NBC, or CBS. And a penalty for not being so. And the last episode was one of my top picks, though not my favorite.

I could name a slew of shows (on non-premium cable) better than Burn Notice, but it won't really matter much.

I can also name a much bigger number of shows that are worse than Burn Notice

I thought it was great. I thought the "mad bomber" was really well-cast, and his motivations fit in with his absolute psychopathy. I'm happy to finally see a piece of why Michael was burned; so we know now that lots of crazy-pants' bombings were pinned on Michael, but for what reason? Was it part of his "recruitment", like how Victor's (?) family was murdered by Carla to bring him into the fold?

I loved the cliff-hanger too - the way they led you to believe he was being led to some secret ultra-super-max prison in the jungle, and then it turns out that was just some dude's security detail? Awesome.
